Every kernel build has been tested for succesfully booting and running applications up to Gnome/LXDE on DS10 and DS20.

Sadly, kernel 3.2.4 cannot be built with DP264 (Tsunami) optimizations.
A bug report has been already filled for this.

ES40 Emulator

Oggi mi sono imbattuto in un interessante software, un emulatore di AlphaServer ES40. L'avevo inserito nei bookmark tempo fa, poi dimenticato e oggi ci ho inciampato col mouse. :) L'emulatore è ben supportato e ha fatto progressi e l'ultima versione 0.16 avvia OpenVMS 7.3-1 e 8.3 con supporto di rete, la versione 0.17 ha aggiunto supporto VGA e SCSI.
Decisamente un ottimo software!
